• Women salons reviews the experience of training in the College of Excellence in Qatif

          The Committee of Women salons in Asharqia Chamber, has reviewed the training experience in the College of Excellence in Qatif in order to know the extent of interaction and attraction of girls in the eastern region to join the sections such as beauty, sewing and fashion design.
    The Committee has reviewed the acceptance mechanisms and the needed standards to attend college, which is based on skill and not just academic achievement, especially that the personal creativity is what these professions need, where there was a mutual collaboration between the female saloons and the College to improve the cosmetic sector and otherwise, also delivering a specialized lecture for the students about the importance of craft work and receiving students in the saloons for the application as a collaborative training.
    The Committee also reviewed the curriculum offered to students after the preparatory year, as the Committee has shown its willingness to provide the needs of the labor market so that salons become the suitable direction for the work of the graduates.
    The Committee of Women salons in eastern chamber, has presented at the college branch in Al Khobar a lecture about the importance of professional work, during which the head of the salons Committee in Asharqia Chamber, Shwaa Aldahilan, has revealed for the absence of Saudi women regarding the crafted professional work, and  she mentioned that in the cosmetics sector, the share of Saudi girls workers did not exceed 10% , but pointed that migrant workers control 40 thousand of women jobs in this sector, which supports the leakage process of local money abroad.
